Late Elder Bishop R.T. McDonald & Wife

Elder R.T. McDonald passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2015, with his family around him, close friend Pastor Gary Howard and faithful saint, Sunny John.

His life was dedicated to serving the Lord. He was a well-known preacher throughout the United States and in foreign countries. His preaching and teaching will forever impact lives. He graduated from Texas Bible College in Houston, TX, and had a Bachelor's Degree in Theology.  He evangelized for many years and pastored for 38 years. He pastored Apostolic Faith Tabernacle for 30 years.

After 30 years of pastoring in this local assembly, it's no wonder that Apostolic Faith Tabernacle is in the midst of an old-fashioned revival where prayer, holiness and heartfelt commitment are being taught and preached.  He and his wife Karen McDonald invested their lives in Oklahoma City. Bishop McDonald placed a great emphasis on prayer and the preached and taught Word of God, and many lives testify to their effectiveness as a couple.

We miss you Bishop!

Apostolic Faith Tabernacle honors and loves Elder Sis. McDonald and is cherished by our congregation and by all that meet and know her.  Her example and work in the kingdom of God is greatly admired.  She remains an integral part of all that AFT does, and continues to work in our offices as she has always done.  We wouldn't want it any other way!
