Funeral of John R. Clark, 11:00 AM, Monday, February 8, 2016 at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle

John Riley Clark, 70, of Choctaw, OK passed away February 5, 2016. He was born July 5, 1945 to Edward and Myrtle Clark in Hanging Rock, OH. John was a member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, Oklahoma City, where he was an usher and he loved his pastor, Pastor N.T. McDonald and his church family. John was known for his hard work ethic and putting forth 100% effort into any project he started. John was a reserve police officer for Galion Police Department and a special duty officer for Crawford County Sheriff’s Department. He was also a former employee of Perfection Cobey and Home Care Matters Hospice, where he also was known for volunteering t handy the funnel cake stand. The last 9 years that he worked, John worked for Walmart Family Market in the produce department. John coached winning softball teams, William Company, Fulton’s TV and Appliance and Artcraft at East Park. John is survived by his wife, Linda R. Clark of Choctaw, OK; children, Jo Ann (Ted) Howard of Galion, OH, Tammie (Brian) Meek of IN, Donna Morrison of Mansfield, OK and John E. Clark of OK; 4 step-children, James Ward of Luther, OK, Terry Ward of OKC, Tina Edwards of Choctaw, and Bruce (Elizabeth) Camp of Washington State; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jim and Richard Clark. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Tealie (Bailey) Clark; parents, Edward and Myrtle (Cole) Clark; twin brother, Paris Clark; sister, Amery Runyon and infant brother, Danny Clark; great-grandson, Brandyn Lucas Clark. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, February 8, 2016 at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, Oklahoma City, OK. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Galion, OH.


Bro. Clark was a precious saint of AFT he will be forever missed.  'Till we meet again.
